4mm Fiber-Optic Interconnect

TOSLINK cables provide an electrically isolated connection for transmitting digital audio from one device to another. This standard is supported on many audio interfaces and sound cards - new computers often have this built-in (the Apple G5 towers, for example).

These cables come with tethered caps to protect the end of the fiber when the cable is not in use. Where as many cheap TOSLINK cables are made with 2.2mm diameter cable, these are a more durable 4mm cable - so you don't have to fret over their fragility.

 

Adapter Specifications

These 4mm Fiber-Optic cables are available in a 1-meter (3 foot) length and a 2-meter (6 foot) length.

They are great for use with DVD, DAT, home stereo, studio applications, and anywhere digital audio is used. This cable is shipped standard with our Teabox sensor interface.
