Light Sensor

Our Light Sensor is perfect for sensing the brightness of an environment. It outputs a fully conditioned signal in the industry standard voltage range of 0.25-4.75 Volts, perfect for the Teabox.

As with all of our sensors, we have taken care to make certain that this sensor is of high quality. For the hacker or do-it-yourselfer we also offer a "project version" of this sensor (see the specification sheet for more details), which comes at a reduced price.

  • Photoconductive Photocell manufactured by Photonic Detectors, Inc.
  • Response Range: Visible light spectrum, 1-100 lux.
  • Response Time: 25-60ms.

  • Minimum Current Source: 5mA
  • Voltage Returned by Sensor: Industry Standard 0.25 Volts to 4.75 Volts, fully conditioned and buffered.

  • Sensor-end connector is our standard, female locking Molex connector. Interface-end connector is top-of-the-line Neutrik XLR connector.
