Sensor: 1-Turn Potentiometer

This is a simple potentiometer for building custom consoles or other rotary-controlled interfaces. It outputs a fully buffered signal in the industry standard voltage range of 0.25-4.75 Volts, perfect for the Teabox.

As with all of our sensors, we have taken care to make certain that this sensor is of high quality. For the hacker or do-it-yourselfer we also offer a "project version" of this sensor (see the specification sheet for more details), which comes at a reduced price.

  • Voltage Source: 0-5 Volts
  • Minimum Current Source: 5mA
  • Voltage Returned by Sensor: Industry Standard 0.25 Volts to > 4.75 Volts, fully conditioned and buffered.
  • Connector Layout (Pin 1 is indicated by an arrow on the top of the connector)
    - Pin 1: Ground (from interface )
    - Pin 2: Sensor Output
    - Pin 3: 5 Volts (from interface)

  • Sensor-end connector is our standard, female locking Molex connector. Interface-end connector is top-of-the-line Neutrik XLR connector.

    - Pin 3: 5 Volts
  • XLR connector layout:
    - Pin 1: Ground
